Stress Management
Effective coping strategies will help you become more resilient to the inevitable stresses of your work. This workshop will enable you to:Reduce the risks of compassion fatigue and burnout
Research indicates that the most empathic practitioners have a higher risk of compassion fatigue and burnout. In this training we explore the role of empathy as well as the neuro-science of mood contagion.The strategies are based on work by the psychotherapist Babette Rothschild, author of ‘Help for the Helper.’ This workshop is particularly valuable for doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who are easily drained or affected by the distress of their patients. These new skills will enable you to continue to provide optimum patient care while also taking care of yourself.
